It may not be October, but one SIS Bank employee is taking the time now to recognize the good works of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. We’re pleased to announce that the Breast Cancer Foundation is receiving our latest $500 gift as part of our Employee Donation Program. Matt Ouellette is the 35th employee to have the honor of naming an organization for the donation program.

The mission of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation is to save lives by meeting the most critical needs of local communities and investing in breakthrough research to prevent and cure breast cancer. This $500 donation will specifically go to The Komen Treatment Assistant Program of the Foundation which helps people facing the financial burden of breast cancer. This program provides financial assistance, education and support services to low-income, underinsured or uninsured women undergoing treatment for breast cancer across the country.

Matt, an Certified Financial Planner™ at the SIS Bank Main Office, selected the Breast Cancer Foundation after becoming aware of how much good work the Foundation puts forth.

“Fighting cancer is as much a battle for the person diagnosed as it is for their family members. We have had employees who have faced breast cancer, and many who have had family members with breast cancer, yourself included,” says SIS Bank President & CEO Blaine Boudreau. “Matt, thank you so much for choosing to support the Assistant Program of the Breast Cancer Foundation.”
